- Town hall on NAFTA modernization in Hamilton, Ontario. Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrew Leslie hosts a town hall meeting on NAFTA modernization on Nov. 1 in Hamilton, Ontario.
- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2017 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
- Product Recalls: Honda Canada Inc. recalls Outboard Engines manufactured in Japan, for fire hazard; DeBond Corporation recalls Marine Formula manufactured in the U.S., for improper labeling that could result in injury; Loblaw Companies Limited recalls Joe Fresh Toddlers Girls’ Shrpa Coat manufactured in China, for choking hazard.
