  • Signing CPTPP. Minister of International Trade François-Philippe Champagne is in Santiago, Chile, March 7-8 to sign the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, representing 11 countries. In addition to Canada, they are Australia, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. He will be promoting how diversifying trade and open international markets between Canada and Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions will create more opportunities and jobs.
  • Product Recalls: InSinkErator recalls Single Outlet Sink Top Switch manufactured in the United States, for fire hazard.
