  • CBSA investigation into certain nitisinone capsules from Sweden. The Canada Border Services Agency on Sept. 21 launched an investigation into whether or not certain nitisinone capsules originating in or exported from Sweden are being sold at unfair prices in Canada. Laboratoires KABS Inc. and its affiliate MendeliKABS Inc., both located in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, filed the complaint, alleging harm to the domestic industry. Nitisinone capsules are orally administered drugs used in the treatment of hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT‑1), according to CBSA. A preliminary decision from CBSA is expected by Dec. 20, 2018.
