- CBSA initiates scope proceeding for certain aluminum extrusions from China. The Canada Border Services Agency initiated a scope proceeding on Oct. 26 regarding certain aluminum extrusions from China, following the receipt of a scope ruling application submitted by Nokia Canada Inc. to CBSA on Sept. 27, 2018. This scope proceeding relates to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s injury findings made on March 17, 2009, and continued by CITT’s orders issued on March 17, 2014, in Expiry Review No RR-2013-003, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of certain aluminum extrusions originating in or exported from China. CBSA will post its findings and a Statement of Reasons by Feb. 22, 2019.
