The government of Canada recently issued the following trade-related notices as of Jan. 30 (some may also be given separate headlines):

- Temporary importation of conveyances by residents of Canada. The Canada Border Services Agency on Jan. 29 issued technical revisions to Memorandum D2-4-1, which outlines and explains the legislation, regulations and conditions under which Canadian residents are permitted to import conveyances on which duties have not been paid for temporary use in Canada. The revisions do not affect or modify any of the existing guidelines or procedures.
- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade updated the 2019 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports.
- Product Recalls: Kidzdistrict recalls Oribel Cocoon high chairs manufactured in China, for fall and injury hazards; CannTrust recalls one lot of Liiv THC Cannabis Oil manufactured in Canada, for hazards related to possible mislabeling of outside box.
