- Insurance support for canola farmers. The Canadian Government announced June 13 additional support for Canadian farmers and canola exporters to expand the sales of high-quality canola around the world. In an effort to manage the risks and uncertainties that come with exploring new markets, they are investing another $150 million in insurance support to Canadian canola exporters, who accounted for $11 billion worth of canola exported to more than 50 countries in 2018.
- Product Recalls: Matrix Vavoom Freezing Spray manufactured in the United States recalled, for missing hazard labeling resulting in injury hazard; Hayward Pool Heater Vent Kit manufactured in the United States recalled, for carbon monoxide poisoning hazard.
