  • CITT issues determination of reasonable indication of injury to domestic corrosion resistant steel sheet industry. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced it determined Jan. 7 that there is a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam have caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. The Canada Border Services Agency will continue its investigations and make a determination by Feb. 6
  • CBSA issues notice to update record on large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe. The Canada Border Services Agency on Jan. 8 closed the record of the normal value and export price review of certain welded large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe (large line pipe) exported from Japan to Canada by Sumitomo Corporation.
  • Product Recalls: Janod Looping Bead Maze manufactured in China recalled, for choking hazard; Joe Fresh Toddler Girls’ Winter Hat manufactured in China recalled, for choking hazard.
