  • Courier Imports Remission Order updates. The Canada Border Services Agency on Aug. 12 updated Memorandum D8-2-16 to reflect the changes resulting from the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) on processes associated with capturing the Courier Imports Remission Order (CIRO) data on the Cargo/Release List (CRL). The memorandum outlines the conditions under which a remission order may be granted on certain goods imported into Canada by courier services.
  • Product Recalls: Stucky Balls Powerful Rare Earth Magnet Set manufactured in China recalled, for ingestion hazard; Crown Darts UK Lawn Dart Sets manufactured in the United Kingdom recalled, for injury risk associated with the prohibition of sale, importation and advertisement of the product in Canada; B-Air and BlueDri Blower Fans manufactured in China recalled, for fire hazard; Thule Sleek Strollers manufactured in Poland recalled, for fall hazard.
