Kent Displays, Inc., challenging CBP's classification of eWriter LCD devices in subheading 9013.80.7000 and the application of a Section 301 tariff exclusion. #20-00156. Filed Aug. 18.

Aeronautical Systems Inc., challenging CBP's classification of aircraft controller boxes as not eligible for American Goods Returned. #20-00157. Filed Aug. 18.

Poppin, Inc., challenging CBP's collection of Section 301 tariffs on goods that were subsequently excluded from the tariffs. #20-00158. Filed Aug. 20.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Aug. 17-23:

Transpacific Steel LLC v. U.S., appealing a July 14 CIT decision that the president can't make changes to Section 232 tariffs beyond the statutory timelines (see 2007140046). #20-2157. Opened Aug. 17.

Canadian Solar International v. U.S., appealing a June 15 CIT decision that sustained a Commerce Department redetermination in the third administrative review of the antidumping duty order covering crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China. #20-2161. Opened Aug. 17.
