LCD panels that are widely adopted in automotive displays “can eliminate the light leakage issue under oblique viewing angles” that’s common to IPS displays without the laminate, said the companies Monday. “These results outperform optical compensation film solutions from rivals while also meeting performance requirements from automotive customers.”
