South Korea Large Diameter Welded Pipe: Prelim Results of CV Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the preliminary results of a countervailing duty administrative review of large diameter welded pipe (welded pipe) from South Korea (C-580-898). This review covers subject merchandise from the exporters under review entered during the period June 29, 2018, through Dec. 31, 2019. Commerce preliminarily determined that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of the subject merchandise.

Hyundai RB Co., Ltd. (Hyundai RB) and SeAH Steel Corp. (SeAH Steel) were selected as mandatory respondents for this CVD administrative review.
Commerce also recently issued the preliminary results of an antidumping duty administrative review of large diameter welded pipe from South Korea (A-580-897) (see 2107290038).
Cash Deposit Requirements
For companies that remain subject to review, new CV duty cash deposit requirements may take effect beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register. Commerce preliminarily calculated the following CV duty cash deposit rates:

For all non-reviewed firms, Commerce will instruct CBP to continue to collect cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties at the most recent company-specific or all-others rate (9.29%) applicable to the company, as appropriate.
