Analyst Says UFLPA Release for Solar Panels Could Mean More Imports Coming

The analyst said the wafers for these modules are made in Vietnam, so they should not be part of the anti-circumvention duties. But, the analyst said, this is only "an incremental positive" for utility-scale panel installers, because the analysts' research results "suggest a meaningful watch-out ahead may be CBP turning its attention beyond the top importers. We could end up being in a two steps forward, one step back situation." CBP said it could not confirm the release by our press time.
