March 22. FDA on March 10 ended its policy of enforcement discretion that had been in place since October 2020, and its requirement that food facilities provide it with a UFI is now in full effect, CBP said. “Currently, FDA recognizes the Data Universal Numbering System D-U-N-S (DUNS) as an acceptable UFI,” CBP said.
