Brazil, Canada Issue AD/CV Actions on Chinese Imports
Brazil and Canada recently announced antidumping and countervailing duty actions and decisions on certain products from mainland China, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council reported Aug. 11.

Brazil recently began an AD investigation on certain Chinese gloves for “non‑surgical procedures,” the report said. The country will send questionnaires to known producers and exporters, who will have 30 days to complete and return them.
Canada recently issued a “final affirmative” AD and CVD determination in its expiry review of its AD/CVD orders on certain Chinese steel piling pipe, HKTDC said. If Canada issues an “affirmative injury determination,” these orders will be renewed for another five years. The country’s determination is expected by Jan. 17.
