USTR Asks for EU-US TTC Trade Agenda Advice
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is asking for advice on how the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council's Global Trade Challenges Working Group can enhance sustainable bilateral trade, coordinate to confront non-market policies in other countries, and more effectively counter those policies and practices.

The Federal Register notice, scheduled for publication Sept. 5, asks: "Are there particular sectors that USTR and [the EU Directorate-General for Trade] should focus on? Are there particular non-market policies and practices that are of greatest concern to you? Why? How do those non-market policies and practices hinder or harm your interests?"
Answers to these questions, including what USTR can do to give European and American stakeholders the opportunity to periodically provide input and feedback to the trade challenges working group, are due Oct. 21. They should be submitted at regulations.gov, docket number USTR-2024-0017.
