ACAS allows CBP and the Transportation Security Administration to evaluate air shipments in advance of cargo departure to ensure there are no threats to aviation (see 2409230036).
A nationwide rejection of vague descriptions in ACAS is still planned; CBP's 30-day warning period runs through Oct. 6, and rejections will be effective Oct. 7 (see 2409060013).
