China Narrow Woven Ribbons: Final Results of CVD Admin Review

The Commerce Department released the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge from China (C-570-953). Commerce will use the rates set in this review to set importer assessments on entries from the two companies under review for calendar year 2022. Effective Oct. 16, Commerce will require CVD cash deposits from the companies under review as follows:

The agency made no changes to the subsidy rate calculations in the preliminary results of this review, calculating a CVD rate of 165.52% for Weifang Chenrui and Xamen Lude, the two mandatory respondent in the review.

For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the two companies listed above), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own CVD rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate applies.
