Life Science Companies Alerted to New DOJ Data Rules

DOJ’s rule was published Jan.8 in the Federal Register and goes into effect on April 8. Life science companies should know biometric identifiers, human omic data and personal health data are defined as “sensitive” under the rule and could be subject to restrictions, attorneys at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe said.
