- Update to the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) -- Appendix U -- HTS/Schedule B Classifications Requiring Used Vehicle Reporting has been posted to CBP.gov. The following HTS/Schedule B code numbers have been added: 8708.30.0050, 8424.30.1000, 8424.82.0010, 8424.82.0090 and 8479.89.6500 (here).
- Update to the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) -- Appendix V -- HTS Numbers that Cannot be Reported in AES has been posted to CBP.gov (here).
- Updated dates for ACE Production Deployment of Changes in FDA ACE Supplemental Guide 2.5.12, which was updated Jan. 15. The validations originally expected to deploy on Feb. 22 are now expected to deploy to the CBP production environment on March 1. The validations originally expected to deploy on March 22 are now expected to deploy to the CBP production environment on March 29 (here).
- Updated guidance on ACE processing of de minimis shipments per Executive Orders issued Feb. 1, as amended Feb. 5. The Executive Order amendment to the additional duties on imports of products of China, issued on Feb. 5. As explained in the EO, the administrative exemption from duty and certain taxes at 19 U.S.C. 1321(a)(2)(C) -- known as the “de minimis” exemption -- will be available for articles previously covered by Harmonized Tariff Schedule heading 9903.01.20 that are otherwise eligible for the exemption. ACE has been updated to process de minimis clearances for shipments containing products of China and Hong Kong (here).
