DOJ on April 11 issued a compliance guide, FAQs and an implementation and enforcement policy (see 2504140047). Paul Hastings attorneys highlighted several DOJ recommendations, including completing a risk assessment, maintaining a third-party service provider registry, regular training for employee data-handling, annual updates to security policies, appointment of a data governance official and regular vendor assessments.
