EPA Proposes New SNURs for Multiple Chemicals
EPA is proposing to issue significant new use rules under the Toxic Substances Control Act for multiple chemical substances. Comments are due by Dec. 3. The SNURs require persons to notify EPA at least 90 days before commencing the manufacture, import or processing of any of these chemical substances for an activity designated as a new use in the SNUR, EPA said.

In one Federal Register notice, EPA is proposing significant new rules for 33 chemical substances. In a second Federal Register notice, EPA is proposing significant new rules for 29 chemical substances. And in a third Federal Register notice, EPA is proposing significant new rules for 27 chemical substances.
