EPA Establishes Tolerance Action for Residues of Cyclobutrifluram in Food

EPA has established a tolerance action for residues of cyclobutrifluram in or on the food and feed commodities of cotton, gin byproducts; cotton, undelinted seed; lettuce, leaf; soybean, seed, according to a Federal Register notice.

This tolerance action, undertaken through the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, is in response to Syngenta's petition for EPA to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this pesticide in or on the identified commodities.

This final rule is effective Nov. 5, although EPA will accept objections and requests for hearings through Jan. 5.
