- CBP officers at the San Juan field office in Puerto Rico seized 530 kilograms of cocaine worth more than $10 million in three interdictions on Nov. 11 involving a cargo vessel from the Dominican Republic, according to an agency release. The narcotics were concealed in modified chassis compartments and duffel bags hidden within palletized cargo, CBP said (here).
- On Nov. 14, CBP officers at the Laredo Port of Entry seized alleged methamphetamine valued at more than $2.6 million hidden within a tractor trailer hauling batteries, arriving from Mexico. Officers discovered 40 packages containing 291 pounds of alleged methamphetamine in the shipment, CBP said (here).
