CBP Adds Advance Notice of WROs as Benefit for CTPAT Trade Compliance
CBP is offering a new benefit to members of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Trade Compliance program: an advance notice that the agency is issuing withhold release order, according to a FAQ document on CTPAT Trade Compliance forced labor requirements.

The agency plans to provide "to the best of the program's ability," up to 48 hours advance notice of an WRO, according to the FAQ. CBP's Trade Compliance inbox will provide the notice to the points of contact within the Trade Compliance account who have the “Email Notification (Trade Compliance)” box marked “Yes," CBP said. "CBP asks that partners please not share this information with Trade," it said.
