ITC Begins Section 337 Investigation on Construction Vehicles
The International Trade Commission began a Section 337 investigation on allegations that Caterpillar, Inc., is importing and selling construction vehicles that infringe patents held by Doosan Bobcat North America (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1473), it said in a press release published Jan. 2.

The complaint was filed in December and seeks a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against the respondents to bar from entry "certain skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, and components thereof" that violate the complainants' patents (see 2512030026).
In the complaint, Bobcat said that its products provide "significant improvements" to construction equipment, including to "usability, safety, and efficiency, among other things."
