ITC Seeks Comments on Section 337 Complaint on Power Converters

According to the complaint, Vicor is seeking a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against 10 companies from the U.S., Taiwan and China to bar from entry "certain power converters, circuit board assemblies, and computing systems containing the same" that violate its patents. Vicor said that the respondents are infringing its "patented non-isolated Sine Amplitude Converter (“SAC”) topology for power converters, including how it is employed within non-isolated intermediate bus architecture power distribution systems."
