ITC Begins Section 337 Investigation on Smart Rings

The International Trade Commission began a Section 337 investigation on allegations that Ouraring is importing and selling smart rings that infringe patents held by Samsung (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1478), it said in a notice to be published in the Federal Register Jan. 16.

The complaint was filed in December and seeks a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against the respondents to bar from entry "certain wearable devices" that violate the complainant's patents (see 2512160014).

The ITC launched an investigation of the same products based on allegations by Ouraring against Samsung (see 2512160014).
