India's Department of Commerce has issued a list of Free Trade Agreements and Preferential Trade Agreements with Commonwealth countries which India has signed or is negotiating.
Russian and European Commission negotiators have concluded bilateral talks on key outstanding elements for the accession of the Russian Federation to the WTO, including important aspects of Russia’s export duty regime and railway fees. Multilateral issues remain to be resolved in such areas as agricultural trade, technical regulations, including sanitary and phyto-sanitary rules, and the investment regime in the automotive sector, in order to complete the accession process.

The European Commission has published a report entitled, "Evaluation of the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Strategy in Third Countries." The report was commissioned by the EC’s Directorate-General for Trade with a view to: (i) assessing the efficiency, effectiveness, impact and relevance of the measures undertaken since the publication of the Strategy in 2005, and (ii) suggesting possible changes or adaptations to be made to that Strategy.
The World Trade Organization announces that at the request of the participants (the European Union and the U.S.) in the dispute “European Communities and Certain Member States — Measures Affecting Trade in Large Civil Aircraft” (DS316/R), the Division hearing the appeal has decided to authorize public observation of the second oral hearing on December 14, 2010. Given the participants' request to protect certain sensitive business information, public observation will be limited to the opening statements and will take place via delayed broadcast.
World Trade Organization Director-General Pascal Lamy announced at a Trade Negotiations Committee meeting on November 30, 2010 an “intensive work program" to finish the Doha Round by the end of next year. He said: “We have the political signal, we have the technical expertise and we have the work program. We now need to translate these into a comprehensive deal which you can all take back home. The final countdown starts now.”
The World Economic Forum has announced that the Summit on the Global Agenda will take place in Dubai from November 29 to December 1, 2010. The Summit will examine, among other issues, long-term solutions for the post-financial crisis world; international implications of the G20 summit outcomes in Seoul; innovation; logistics and transport, and the upcoming Cancun summit on climate change.
The United Nations Security Council has renewed until November 30, 2011 the arms embargo and related sanctions on the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and has requested the Secretary-General to extend the mandate of the Group of Experts monitoring those measures.
