The Food and Drug Administration is announcing its intention to receive and consider a single source application for the award of a cooperative agreement in fiscal year 2010 to the National Center for Food Protection and Defense to support the continued development and operations of collaborative online tools involving a range of stakeholders for the purposes of information sharing in the development of an integrated food safety system, etc. The application due date is September 27, 2010.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has published in the Federal Register its provisionally-accepted Settlement Agreement with Pro-Pac Distributing Corp. with a civil penalty of $125,000.00 to resolve allegations that Pro-Pac failed to report to CPSC immediately, as required by federal law, that children’s hooded sweatshirts it imported and distributed had drawstrings at the neck.
