Sen. Kristen Gillibrant, D-N.Y., was appointed to the President's Export Council, her office announced Feb. 26. In a press release, Gillibrand said she would use the appointment to expand various sectors of New York's economy, including agriculture and manufacturing, and ensure FTA protections are enforced and strengthened.
Enoh Ebong is the new general counsel for U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the agency said Feb. 25. Ebong joined USTDA in 2004 as Assistant General Counsel, and most recently worked as Deputy General Counsel for the agency.

Andrew Clarke resigned as president and CEO of Panther Expedited Services, the company said in a press release. Louis Schneeberger, previously chief financial officer, will take over as president and CEO, and Edward Wadel, previously chief information officer, will be the chief operating officer, the company said.
