Robert Zoellick to join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University and the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington DC after he steps down as World Bank president on June 30.
Alan Wolff, former deputy U.S. Trade Representative and chairman of the National Foreign Trade Council, joined McKenna Long & Alridge as senior counsel in the firm’s Washington, DC, office. He will be a member of the firm’s international practice focusing on international trade.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced 11 appointments to the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board. Four of the appointees will serve out the remaining terms for four vacancies, and the other seven appointees will serve full 3-year terms.
President Barack Obama designated Vice Chairman Irving Williamson as Chair of the United States International Trade Commission for the term expiring June 16, 2014. The U.S. Grains Council chose Thomas Sleight as president and CEO to replace the retiring Thomas Dorr, the council said June 25. Sleight previously worked as vice president of operations and membership at the council.
