CBP has also posted an updated CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) - an electronic query report for CF 1401 of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued CSMS messages describing changes to Importer Security Filing Status Advisory (SA) messages and stow plan responses that will become effective no sooner than July 10, 2010.

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that ACE entry summary filing under application code AE requires cargo certification when the entry is first transmitted if Remote Location Filing will be requested by the filer. ACE also requires the cargo certification on every subsequent transmission of the RLF entry number.
