CBP is hoping to hold its annual Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Security Conference near the end of September, said Carlos Ochoa, supervisory program manager of C-TPAT at CBP. Ochoa spoke at the Import Compliance and Enforcement conference June 20. The conference requires approval from the Department of Homeland Security for the first time this year and that approval was still pending, he said.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of June 18.
CBP released updated annual CDSOA (Byrd Amendment) disbursement reports reflecting what CBP has determined to be the proper allocation calculations as of June 2012:
CBP posted a June 18 version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) electronic query report of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP also posted a version of its CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) electronic query report of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.

CBP posted a June update on its progress with various ACE capabilities and other projects, such as the Document Image System, PGA Message Set, e-Manifest: rail and Sea (M1), ACE Truck, Automated Export Processing etc.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection released a spreadsheet showing active AD/CVD cases and the associated case numbers, ISO country codes, tariff numbers, and short descriptions of each case as of May 15 . This information alone should not be relied upon in determining whether an AD/CVD case is currently active, or whether merchandise falls under the scope of AD/CVD order, said CBP. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hosting a Webinar on June 21 at 3 p.m. on updating the broker regulations (19 CFR Part 111), it said in a CSMS message June 18. The webinar will focus on broker "bona fides" and is the second of several webinars slated for the summer of 2012 as part of CBP's Role of the Broker Initiative.
