The World Customs Organization and the Demos Group scheduled the second WCO Knowledge Academy for Customs and Trade for July 2-13 at WCO Headquarters in Brussels. The Academy is to provide intense training for Customs officials and trade practitioners, they said. Participants will take "master classes" on topics such as the Harmonized System 2012, the WCO Data Model, Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs) and the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards. Officials from the public sector will be able to familiarize themselves with the most recent information and developments on Risk Management and the WCO Revenue Package.

CBP also posted a version of its CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) electronic query report of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a CSMS message the ACE certification environment will be unavailable June 13 from 6 a.m.until 11 a.m. ABI software developer requested that CBP deploy fixes to the ACE certification environment prior to deployment to ACE Production, scheduled for June 23.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said June 11 it resolved some issues with Importer Security Filing (ISF) filings and the backlog is being processed. CBP received some reports from ABI filers that they are not getting ISF responses and, in some cases, cargo selectivity responses. CBP also got reports that cargo that usually receives a "paperless" release is now received "docs required" message.
