U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hosting a Webinar on June 7th at 3:00 PM on updating the broker regulations (19 CFR Part 111). This is the first of several webinars slated for the summer of 2012 as part of CBP's Role of the Broker Initiative. CBP is seeking comment and input on all facets of the broker regulations from the widest possible audience, it said. Especially important is feedback from small- and medium-sized enterprises, said CBP.
CBP posted updated versions of certain of its Excel workbooks containing historical information and fill rates for TRQs and TPLs. The updated versions are (here).

U.S. Customs and Border Protection reminded ACE users of a coming outage in a CSMS message. CBP said due to a major hardware upgrade, the ACE certification environment will be unavailable beginning June 1, 2012 at 15:00 EDT through June 3, 2012 at 23:59 EDT. This upgrade won't impact ACE Production, said CBP.
