CBP has posted the fiscal year 2010 preliminary Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000 (commonly referred to as the Byrd Amendment) amounts available as of April 30, 2010, which provides information on the amounts available to disburse by case.

At the May 11, 2010 meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC), COAC adopted the recommendations of its Air Cargo Security Subcommittee regarding streamlining federal background check and credentialing requirements for air cargo employees. After adopting the recommendations, COAC presented them to CBP for its consideration.

CBP has posted an updated version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) - an electronic query report for CF 1400 of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP has also posted an updated CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) - an electronic query report for CF 1401 of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.

CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of June 1, 2010. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa products, and tobacco; and certain BFTA, DR-CAFTA, Israel FTA, JFTA, MFTA, OFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs; etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, DR-CAFTA, CBTPA, Haitian HOPE, MFTA, NAFTA, OFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TPLs and TRQs for qualifying textile articles and/or other articles; the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics; etc.

CBP has issued another Unified Business Resumption Messaging message providing an update on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. According to CBP, all seaports remain open and have normal hours of operation.
