The Consumer Product Safety Commission released a direct final rule May 8 amending its safety standard for bedside sleepers to incorporate the latest revisions to the ASTM voluntary industry standard, it said. The changes are effective Aug. 5, 2023, unless CPSC receives a “significant adverse” comment by June 8.
