CBP posted an updated list of the interest rates (updated for the fourth quarter of 2010) for additional duty payments owed to Customs as a result of reconciliation. CBP notes that when a reconciliation results in additional monies owed CBP, the payment must be made with interest, calculated by the filer using the rates provided in the list.

The Long Beach City Council has upheld the Port of Long Beach's plans to replace the Gerald Desmond Bridge, clearing the way for the nearly $1 billion project that will improve safety and ease traffic congestion. With a unanimous 8-0 vote, the Council upheld the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners’ August 2010 decision to approve the project’s environmental impact report. Construction is expected to begin as early as next year.
