CBP has posted an updated list of the names and CBP surety codes for the sureties found on the Treasury Department's Listing of Approved Sureties (Circular 570) dated July 1, 2010. This list includes only those sureties where a 3-digit CBP surety code has already been assigned.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking comments by November 22, 2010 on an extension of an existing collection of information on commercial invoices in order to extend the expiration date and change the burden hours estimated by CBP. CBP states that it did not develop a specific form for this information collection. Rather, importers are allowed to use their existing invoices to comply with these regulations.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a 2010 version of its CBP Directive on the “Acceptance of Temporary Admission Carnets.”
