CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching their restraint limit or have filled their in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections: those that are at least 85% filled and those that are filled.
CBP has posted a summary of changes to the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) that is effective August 17, 2010. Changes were made to Appendix U - HTS/Schedule B Classifications Requiring Used Vehicle Reporting.
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that starting Friday, August 20, 2010 at 3:00 pm CST, all FDA Texas offices will experience a server outage until 9:00 am CST on Monday, August 23, 2010. In addition, the phone system in the FDA Dallas office will not be operational during this time.While the servers are unavailable, FDA's TX offices will not have access to entry information transmitted through ABI.
CBP has posted Amendment 26 to the Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR)-Intermodal. Appendix D (Disposition Codes) was revised as follows: Disposition Codes “3O, 3P, 3Q, and 3R” have been changed to “4O, 4P, 4Q, and 4R” for Importer Security Filing. CBP has posted an update on the progress of the southwest border fence construction. According to CBP, as of August 6, 2010, CBP has completed roughly 648.1 miles of fencing (349.2 miles of primary pedestrian fence and 298.8 miles of vehicle fence) along the Southwest Border.
