CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching their restraint limit or have filled their in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections: those that are at least 85% filled and those that are filled.

CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that the Automated Commercial Environment will experience an extended outage during the weekend of of July 17, 2010 to perform software upgrades. According to the message, the outage will begin at 2100 EDT on Saturday, July 17, 2010 until 0700 EDT on Sunday, July 18, 2010.

The Port of Long Beach reports that all of its shipping terminals continue to be open and operating during the ongoing labor contract negotiations between marine terminal operators and the office clerks union, the ILWU Local 63A Office Clerical Unit. The clerical unit's contract with the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Employers Association, which represents the terminal operators, ended June 30, 2010. The current negotiations do not involve truck drivers, dockworkers or others in the work force.
