U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that the new phone system has been installed and is operational at the Charleston, SC Customhouse. This message lists the new phone numbers for the specific departments. Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the CBP's electronic system through which the international trade community reports imports and exports to and from the U.S. and the government determines admissibility.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted to its Web site a notice providing details on the enhancements to the Automated Commercial Environment account type for importers that were implemented with the deployment Entry Summary, Accounts, and Revenue (ESAR) A1.
