The Food and Drug Administration has added two more importers to Import Alert 99-41 for importers that aren’t in compliance with Foreign Supplier Verification Program requirements. Dinamix Distribution was added May 13, after being sent a warning letter in December that said the company did not set up FSVP programs for its imported mayonnaise and two types of drinks. One day later, FDA added El Molino Bakery Supplies, also after a December warning letter that said it hadn’t set up FSVPs. Both warning letters had been released by FDA in January (see 2001240037). Dinamix and El Molino are the second and third importers added to Import Alert 99-41, respectively. Brodt Zenatti remains on import alert, after having been added in October (see 1910210063).
