U.S. dairy manufacturers interested in exporting their products to China may need to provide updated registration information to the Food and Drug Administration by Nov. 2, or they may no longer be recognized as eligible for export by China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration, said FDA in a constituent update (here). FDA has been compiling a list of interested U.S. dairy exporters in order to assist them in complying with new Chinese registration requirements (see 14010807), and was recently notified that the list should only include products currently being manufactured and able to be shipped to China, listed under Chinese-approved product names, it said. Revised information should be provided to FDA’s Esther Lazar at esther.lazar@fda.hhs.gov.
