APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for March 28
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued emails March 28, 2012, announcing changes to various Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

- Rice Milled Products. Table 3-147 Rice-milled products change: New Information in the third column (And if) and fifth column (And), third and fourth cells has been added: Links contained throughout the manual in the Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, Index, as well as internal and external cross-references have all been updated.( here)
- Seeds. The Seeds Not for Planting Manual has been updated to provide new information for the approved heat treatment facility for Niger seed in India, and to change the contact for noxious weeds not listed in the manual. Revisions are on pages 2-19, 3-38, and 3-39. (here )
