APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for May 14
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued emails May 14, 2012, announcing changes to some Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Miscellaneous and Processed Products Import Manual: The following changes have been made to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Import Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed after the table number below.
- Table 3-199 Wood packaging materials (WPM)--natural or unfinished wood pallets, crates, or dunnage serving to convey or protect cargo change language in first column (If:), third cell has been changed; language in third column (And:), third cell has been changed; footnote #4 has been added
- Links contained throughout the manual in the Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, Index, as well as internal and external cross-references have all been updated.
