APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for June 18

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued emails June 18 announcing changes to some Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed after the page number below.

Appendix E: List of Establishments Approved to Receive, and/or Process Restricted Imported Animal By-Products:

  • Page E-1-56 Texas change three items have been added to Brush Country Studios/Taxidermy third column (Purpose or product)
