APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Sept. 24
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued emails Sept. 24 announcing changes to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Facilities Authorized to Export Phalaenopsis spp. in Growing Media from Taiwan to the U.S.: The list of Approved Phalaenopsis in Growing Media Facilities (here) has been updated, transmittal 09/2012-15, to add new greenhouses; to change a grower's name; and to merge greenhouses. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin of each revised page, are as follows:
- Page 1: Added new grower and greenhouse
- Page 2: Added new greenhouse
- Page 3: Changed name from Ever-Lasting Flower Farm Corp. to Mega Flower Co.
- Page 5: Merged greenhouse 70-PS-062-02 with 70-PS-062-01 now 70-PS-062-01
- Page 6: Added 2 new greenhouses
