APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Nov. 19
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Nov. 19 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed after the individual page numbers below.
Chapter 3-12 Foreign-Origin Meat and Meat Products, Ruminants
- Figure 3-12-2 List of Foreign Establishments APHIS-Approved for Perishable Cooked Beef - Argentina establishments have been updated
Chapter 3-15 Miscellaneous Products
- Table 3-15-6 Straw, Hay, and Grass - Mexican States' information and footnote #2 have been reinstated into the table
Appendix E List of Establishments Approved to Receive and/or Process Restricted Imported Animal By-Products
- Page E-1-8 California - Animal Art Taxidermy has been added to the list
- Page E-1-11 California - Rick's Taxidermy and West Coast Taxidermy Studio have been deleted from the list
- Page E-1-14 Florida - Animal Gallery has been deleted from the list
- Page E-1-23 Illinois - owner name and contact information has been updated for Erie Foods International
- Page E-1-25 Iowa - one item has been added to and one item has been deleted from the third column (Purpose or product) for Wildlife Industries, Inc.
- Page E-1-35 Minnesota - one item has been added to the third column (Purpose or product) for Tom's Taxidermy
- Page E-1-41 New York - Caliber Transportation Corp. has been added to the list
- Page E-1-42 New York - HNR Freight Logistics Inc. has been deleted from the list
- Page E-1-50 Pennsylvania - two items have been added to the third column (Purpose or product) for Heads & Sheds Taxidermy
- Page E-1-52 Pennsylvania - one item has been added to and one item has been deleted from the third column (Purpose or product) for Wildlife Studios, LLC
- Page E-1-54 Texas - one item has been added to the third column for Alpine Taxidermy; and Avian Arts, LLC has been added to the list
- Page E-1-67 Washington - owner name has been corrected for Baker Commodities
- Page E-1-68 Washington - Little Willy's Wonder Taxidermy and Tanning has been deleted from the list
Appendix G Certificates and Permits
- Page G-1-1 - chapter table of contents has been updated
- Page G-1-40 - CFIA Annex (E) A-8 has been replaced with an updated version
- Pages G-1-46 & G-1-47 - CFIA Annex A-7 document has been replaced with CFIA Veterinary Health Certificate for Cervid Offal Not Intended for Human Consumption Exported to the United States
Links contained throughout the manual in the Table of Contents, List of Figures, List of Tables, and Index as well as internal and external cross-references and hyperlinks have all been updated as needed.
