APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Dec. 21

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Dec. 21 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Approved Pelargonium Facilities: The list of Approved Pelargonium Facilities authorized to export Pelargonium spp. cuttings to the U.S. was updated, transmittal 12/2012-11, to add two new certification end dates. Revisions, identified by a black change bar in the left margin of each revised page, are as follows:

  • Page 1: Added 12/31/2013 to Ethiopia facilities
  • Page 2: Corrected address
